0802 Proceeding to Hampton Roads to off-load ammunition. 0950 Anchored in Hampton Roads, Virginia. 1024 Commenced off-loading ammunition. 1406 Completed offloading a variety of ammunition and explosives which had been aboard as reserve supply during resent Mediterranean deployment. 1413 Underway for Little Creek Amphibius Base, Little Creek, Virginia. 1646 Moored starboard side to the south side of pier #14, U.S. Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Virginia.

1230 Set the special sea and anchor detail for getting underway. 1329 Underway to shift berths. 1400 Moored starboard side to pier 56 east, U.S. Naval Amphibious Base, with the port anchor under foot. All forward lines doubles and tending aft to the pier. Standard mooring lines doubled aft and a one inch wire for and aft.
