Theodore R. DUNN, in charge of Two (2) men, left the ship, to report to Senior Shore Patrol Officer, Palermo, Sicily.   1112 The Commanding Officer held mast and imposed non-judicial punishment as follows:   BAKER, C.E., EM1, USN. 00-04  Med-moored in berth Q57, Molo San Vincenzo, Naples Italy, in 14 fathoms of water, mud bottom with 65 fathoms of chain out to the Starboard Anchor; Port Anchor underfoot with 15 fathoms of chain out to the water’s edge.   Standard mooring lines doubled aft both port and starboard with additional one and one half (1 ½”) wire double starboard and single port.   Condition of readiness IV and Material Condition YOKE (Modified) are set.   Engineer is on four (4) hour standby for 8 knots.   Boiler Number two (2) and Generator One (1) are on the line.   Ships present include various units of the U.S. SIXTH FLEET and ships of the Italian Navy.   SOPA is COMSERVFORSIXFLT embarked in USS MISSISSINEWA (AO 144).   0135 LT. A. ALKSNISIS USNR, in charge of two (2) men, having completed temporary duty as Shore Patrol Officer on tour to Rome, Italy, returned on board and resumed his regular duties.
